The Power of Vision- PT 1

It is Dr.Myles Munroe who wrote and I quote “vision is the source and hope of life. The greatest gift ever given to mankind is not the gift of sight but the gift of vision. Sight is a function of the eyes, vision is a function of the heart.”

The eyes that look are common, but the eyes that see are few. Nothing praiseworthy on earth is ever done without vision. Vision goes ahead of manifestation. When there is a VISION, there is a FUTURE. It is actually the picture of a future. Vision has the power to transform and enthrone a glorious future.
What can Vision not accomplish? It is the key to hope in the midst of despair, a propelling force of endurance in the face of hopelessness and tribulation. How strong is your power of vision. Does it have the propelling force and power to give endurance in the face of hopelessness and despair? Taking a look at Biblical examples: The triumph of Joseph over and above his siblings was the instance of his vision and work. One cannot have Vision and not work towards it; its like having the almighty Bugatti Veryon without its brake system attached, its either you dont drive the car at all or you drive it to an accident. That is exactly how vision works. You must back up that vision with work, not just any kind of work- HARDWORK. “I have the vision of graduating from the university with a first class”, are you working towards it. “I see myself six years from now attaining great heights” are you coupling that great vision with hard work. “I would love to cure cancer” what effort have you made towards achieving that goal. Add a plus of hardwork to the vision you have. Remember Vision has the power to transform and enthrone a glorious future.

To be continued…
